Ahli have revealed they will play a friendly match against Bayern Munich next January in Doha.
The Cairo club announced a tour of three friendly games in January, including two in Doha against Bundesliga leaders Bayern and Qatari side Al-Jaish.
According to the Reds’ website, the tour starts with a meeting against Primera Liga side Getafe in Spain on January 2.
Ahli then should meet Bayern on January 6, two days before taking on Al-Jaish.
German giants Bayern, who edged Ahli 2-1 last January in Doha as well, are expected to be spending their mid-season break in the Gulf.
Getafe, on the other hand, will resume their league campaign at Rayo Vallecano only four days after their proposed game with Ahli.
It remains to be seen how Ahli will be able to deal with their fixture list in case the domestic league was resumed in the near future.
Ahli’s current schedule only includes a couple of games though as they clash with Esperance of Tunisia in the CAF Champions League double-header on November 4 and 17.
