Mohamed Zidan will be sidelined for three weeks after sustaining a knee injury in Bani Yas’ win over Al-Wasl, according to Emirate reports.
Emirate newspaper Al-Bayan said that a scan for the 30-year-old showed a ligament injury that will see him miss the next three weeks.
It is the second injury for Zidan with Bani Yas this term, having spent over a month on the sidelines immediately following the league opener.
Egypt winger Shikabala has also been injured in the defeat to Bani Yas and is set to miss his team’s next game in the UAE President Cup this weekend.
