Egypt’s second man Diaa Al-Sayed vehemently denies that head coach Bob Bradley has accused FA officials of being ‘ignorant’.
Several websites and newspapers claimed that Bradley is ‘frustrated’ with the new FA board’s lack of communication skills, while others said he intends to sue the association over late wages.
But coach Al-Sayed was quick to refute the allegations, insisting that the American has no problem with any official inside the FA board and warning of made-up web content.
Completely untrue!
“I don’t want officials to deal with all web news as if it’s a fact. This would be very difficult. It would ruin a lot of things for us,” Al-Sayed told Al-Hayat TV.
“The Facebook and the websites can flare up things in this country. Bradley has never been disrespectful to anyone.
“I usually attend all the FA meetings and Bradley has never said this. He has never accused FA officials of being week in language nor did he say they are ignorant!
“Two days ago I read a story that Bradley intends to sue the FA (over wages). He then asked me to deny it quickly because this is completely untrue.
“What makes me anxious is that when officials tend to believe these stories if there is a campaign or a conspiracy against us.
“Bradley and I used to deal with nearly one person and an interim board for a year. Why would he cause a problem and complain when there is a hired and fully-established FA board?”
Since his appointment in September 2011, Bradley has been anything but controversial despite a series of hindrances threatening his work with the national team.
